Mergers and Acquisitions. Major team assignments: Designed a new European-wide acquisition strategy for a major telecom operator. Assessed opportunities for the sale of a major US aerospace component producer.
Principal Investment. Evaluated potential acquisitions of telecommunication companies in Turkey and Poland. Performed due diligence, assessed management, evaluated facilities and potential operational improvements, determined potential deal structure.

Coordinated all marketing and sales of public switching and line transmission equipment in Siberia and the Russian Far-East.
  • Established and managed the Novosibirsk Coordination and Field Support Center. Hired, trained, and directed 18 employees. Coordinated the sales support activities of 15 Belgian semi-expatriated engineers. Administered an annual budget of $250,000.
  • Developed Alcatel brand name recognition in 200 target cities using regional customized marketing strategies. Organized two major telecommunications seminars in Novosibirsk.
  • Supervised bids on more than $150 million of telecommunications equipment in 80 cities. Conducted negotiations and closed a highly strategic $8 million contract in Central Siberia. Arranged financing through a coal barter agreement with one of the world's largest traders.

  • Assessed the future trends in the Mexican tire market and designed a manufacturing cost improvement plan for a local producer of rubber-processing chemicals.
  • Conducted a worldwide market analysis, a competition evaluation, and designed a new management structure for a recently merged construction group.
